Inspiring creative expression
Rainbow Crossing is committed to
- making the performing arts experience accessible especially to young people in regional Australia through workshops and performances;
- helping people foster creativity, develop strong communication skills and encourage the kind of innovative thinking necessary to meet daily challenges through the arts;
- introducing children to the joys and experience of being a part of live theatre.

Rainbow Crossing continues to successfully achieve its vision through a series of valuable collaborations with educators, performing arts companies and community organisations.
One of the most enduring has been with The Wizard of Oz Interactive Show, a unique, vibrant re-telling of Frank Baum’s classic story that goes far beyond being one of Australia’s most enduring children’s interactive shows with striking community initiatives, Oz festivals and multicultural initiatives. The Show proudly celebrated its 5,000th performance worldwide in 2019.
Although we don’t have any performances in the works at the moment, this is something we’re committed to bringing back in the future – watch this space!
