Inspiring creative expression

Rainbow Crossing is committed to

  • making the performing arts experience accessible especially to young people in regional Australia through workshops and performances;
  • helping people foster creativity, develop strong communication skills and encourage the kind of innovative thinking necessary to meet daily challenges through the arts;
  • introducing children to the joys and experience of being a part of live theatre.

Collaborations

Rainbow Crossing continues to successfully achieve its vision through a series of valuable collaborations with educators and performing arts companies.

One of the most enduring has been with The Wizard of Oz Interactive Show, a unique, vibrant re-telling of Frank Baum’s classic story that goes far beyond being one of Australia’s top kids interactive shows with striking community initiatives, Oz festivals and its very own Oz-themed children’s creative centre in Sydney’s Macarthur region. The Show proudly celebrated its 5,000th performance worldwide in 2019.

Collaborations through 2020 include:
Dreamtime Explorers
Life Beyond Barriers
Silambam School of Bhatatnatyam
