The Macarthur Women’s Coffee Club is a place for women from different backgrounds to meet in a warm, supportive, fun and empowering environment.
Collaborating with the various services and multicultural groups in the region, this coffee club offers a place that:
- welcomes women who are new to the area to meet others, connect & make friends;
- empowers women from non-English speaking backgrounds to overcome social barriers that prevent them from connecting with the larger community and seeking support;
- offers the necessary support and referrals over various issues;
- provides a platform to share and learn more about different cultures.
- offers a totally inclusive, non- judgemental space.

Where coffee creates connection
Every Wednesday morning, MWCC delivers activities focused on mental health, wellbeing and empowerment, from practical life skills with NSW SES, Transport NSW and Health NSW, to creative experiences like Aboriginal rock painting, expressive movement and clay modelling.
Members are also inspired to give back, knitting blankets for people experiencing homelessness, volunteering at local charity events and our Macarthur Community Kitchen, , and supporting community initiatives and artists.
Today, MWCC is where isolation turns into friendship and confidence grows week by week. The club remains a free service, including morning tea, meeting every Wednesday from 10:00am to 12:30pm during school terms at Oz Funland. With a large, safe play space for children and easy access to public transport, MWCC is more than a coffee club; it is a community where women support each other to become stronger together.
‘The Precious Book of Affirmations’ Launched
Federal Member for Macarthur Dr Mike Freelander MP officially launched The Precious Book of Affirmations with Mayor of Campbelltown Darcy Lound receiving the very first copy in front of a large, enthusiastic crowd.
This pocketful of positivity features uplifting statements and beautiful artwork shared by the Macarthur Women’s Coffee Club, designed to inspire confidence, spread joy, and nurture inner peace.
We extend our deepest thanks to Wests Group Macarthur for making this project possible, our Chairperson Brian Laul for dreaming it into being, Chris of Pivot Solutions for the stunning design, and Christy for coordinating every detail with her trademark enthusiasm.
