Macarthur Community Kitchen
NUTRITIOUS TAKE AWAY MEALS FOR THOSE FACING HARDSHIP
Celebrating COmpassion
Hunger is real, local and growing
Macarthur Community Kitchen is Rainbow Crossing’s flagship compassion program. It’s a volunteer-run initiative providing nutritious takeaway meals to people facing hardship right here in our community.
The Need
Rising living costs have pushed everyday people into quiet hardship. Hunger doesn’t always look visible, but it is real, local, and growing.
Our Response
✔ Over 3,200 meals prepared and shared
✔ 100% volunteer-run
✔ Community-donated ingredients and equipment
✔ Welcoming people of all backgrounds
But the impact goes far beyond food. It restores dignity. It reminds people they matter. Every meal goes out with a hand-written angel card of encouragement facilitated by Angel Gifts for Rainbow Crossing Inc.

How You Can Help
Support for the Kitchen directly translates into meals, skills shared, volunteers empowered, and a stronger, more resilient community.
Funds raised here through Rainbow Crossing Inc. directly sustain the Macarthur Community Kitchen.
Let’s keep the kitchen cooking – together.
You can turn hardship into hope
DONATE FOOD
By donating non-perishable food items, you help support local families and individuals facing food insecurity.
DONATE MONEY
Your generosity keeps our kitchen cooking and puts nutritious meals on the table for people doing it tough.
VOLUNTEER
You, your school, community group or business can help by volunteering at the Macarthur Community Kitchen.
WORKPLACE GIVING
The most effective way of supporting the Kitchen is to donate non-perishable food items, money or volunteer as a group.
RECOGNISED IN NSW PARLIAMENT
We were honoured to be recognised in NSW Parliament by Greg Warren MP, State Member for Campbelltown. Mr Warren was so impressed by the kitchen that he said, “This initiative is about providing nutritious meals to those in need in our community.
