Our vision is to forge creative community connections through use of all art forms and disciplines, inspiring positive social change within the diverse and vibrant community of Macarthur.
Through our work, we have a profound commitment to:
- creating supportive spaces for performing and creative arts-based dialogue that unites people;
- unlocking the area’s untold stories by enabling art and artists to shape the narratives that define who we are a multicultural society;
- uplifting, inspiring, connecting and empowering individuals to overcome key barriers and build stronger, more inclusive communities.
pURPOSE
Rainbow Crossing Incorporated works to overcome barriers in cultural diversity and transform communities through the use of art by:
- encouraging the sharing of stories using all forms of visual, performing and digital art to empower self-change and discovery;
- championing the development of artists and art form practices that speak to who we are as Australians, and providing opportunities to showcase these;
- recognising the work and achievements of young people across all fields, providing not only inspiration, but a brighter future for the individual and their community;
- making the performing arts experience accessible to young people in regional communities and those with special needs through workshops and performances.

Our Team
Brian Laul
Chairperson
Brian Laul is a powerhouse of community spirit and creativity. From captivating children with his globally acclaimed Wizard of Oz Interactive Show (that celebrated 5,000 performances) to spearheading grassroots change in South-West Sydney, Brian transforms every stage and every street into a platform for positive change.
Named one of the most influential people in Macarthur by The Daily Telegraph, he’s a journalist, theatre-maker, musician, entrepreneur, and above all, a relentless champion for community. Honoured as Campbelltown’s 2023 Citizen of the Year, and NSW Volunteer of the Year (South West Sydney), Brian has created countless initiatives for Rainbow Crossing Inc. that empower young leaders, celebrate culture, and connect diverse voices. He is co-founder of Youth Amplified with Ronna Guzman.
An experienced businessman, Brian is Vice President of the Greater Cumberland Chamber of Commerce and General Secretary of the Australia-Bangladesh Business Forum.
Kylee Bentham
Director
Kylee Bentham has dedicated years to meaningful charity work across multiple community organisations, providing hands‑on support to the homeless through Shining Stars Foundation, empowering young people and individuals with disabilities through Rainbow Crossing Inc, and uplifting frontline workers through The Broken Path. Her service is grounded in compassion, consistency, and a genuine commitment to those who are often overlooked.
Kylee’s contributions have been recognised through community appreciation and awards Camden Citizen of the Year 2023, NSW Hidden Treasure honour Roll, her leadership, resilience, and unwavering dedication to improving the lives of others.
Christerine Laul
Director
Christerine Laul is a respected community leader whose compassion and quiet strength have uplifted women and families across Sydney’s South West. As co-founder of the Macarthur Women’s Coffee Club, she has created safe, welcoming spaces for women facing isolation, domestic violence, language barriers and financial hardship.
An education professional with advanced qualifications in education and music from Trinity College London, Christerine continued to serve others even during the challenges of the pandemic, supporting families online, volunteering in food collection and meal distribution, and giving her time to church and community initiatives. Her leadership, courage and kindness have earned her Rotary’s Paul Harris Fellow.
Cassidy Pearce
Director
Cassidy has been involved in Rainbow Crossing Inc since 2021, when, under the guidance of Brian Laul, she began writing for Good Morning Macarthur and co-hosting livestreams during the COVID-19 pandemic, while she completed a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism + Social and Political Science) at the University of Technology Sydney.
She went on to join Rainbow Crossing formally, becoming a Board Member in 2022. During this time, Cassidy has continued to work in the media, both in local news, and for national outlets. She is passionate about the Macarthur community, having also previously worked at multiple dance studios in the area – taking pride in her performances at local events, and of her time spent educating young dancers.
Christopher Laul
Director
Christopher Laul is an accomplished professional with a strong background in event management and a proven track record as a successful business owner in the field of digital solutions for businesses. With years of experience leading projects, coordinating large-scale events, and implementing digital strategies that enhance business operations, Christopher has established himself as a trusted expert in both creative and corporate environments.
His leadership and entrepreneurship have driven measurable success across multiple ventures, particularly in helping businesses harness digital tools to expand their reach and improve operational efficiency.
Ronna Guzman
Director
A trailblazer for inclusion, Ronna is President of the Philippine-Australian Multicultural Association Inc., Board Director at the Multicultural Communities Council of NSW, and a Consumer Advisor for NSW Health. She is a respected business owner and leader in the aged care and disability sectors, and Founder of NurtureNEXT, a socially-minded business, helping young people to identify strengths, embrace culture, and leadership potential.
Ronna is also Co-Director of the Macarthur Multicultural Children’s Festival and Co-Founder of Youth Amplified with Brian Laul. Ronna brings unmatched heart and vision to our mission.
Bikram Kharel
Director
A seasoned hospitality professional, Bikram has a strong background in operations management, strategic planning, and customer service.
Bikram has been actively involved in community through the years, serving as President of Shabdamala Nepalese Language School, Secretary/Public Officer for the NSW Federation of Community Language Schools, and Director of Services for the Macarthur Multicultural Children’s Festival. With deep operational smarts and a passion for service, Bikram helps us grow with impact
